A Truth Journal: Russia to Daddy France: Help! Send Money. I'm Overdrawn at the Bank: From Denny: The Russians are always as entertaining as they are annoying. Besides, slamming - and taking to task - a violent global bully is even more entertaining. One of their latest foibles? Wrangling with France over a suspended contract on a $1.2 billion euro Mistral helicopter carrier deal not delivered after Russia invaded Ukraine and seized the Crimea region, annexing it to Russian territory.

Of course, to hear the Russians tell it they whine how they are the injured party on this Mistral deal because of those unfair sanctions. They also use that same line about invading Ukraine, "Oh, how those awful Ukrainians have started a war against Russia!" Putin should get the Big Fat Ass Trophy for Global BS Artist.

What Russia wants Daddy France to do is cancel the contract because France has no intention of delivering since Russia started military aggression against Ukraine. The last thing France or the EU should be doing is selling military ships to Russia when Russia is in hostile aggression mode, trying to march across Europe in the most naked land grab in centuries...

This Christmas Eve my husband and I started that conversation. Though we have been married many years there were still some things we did not know about each other.

Dennys Funny Quotes: Funny Video: Little Girl Pranks Her Dad to Perfection: From Denny: This little four-year-old is a kid after my own heart. OK, I used to do fun things like this to exasperate my parents too. None of which was well met either. :) I love precocious kids.

This little girl says at the beginning of the video - or sounds like, "I'm just gonna jump out and scare him."

The little girl goes to hide in the kitchen closet while the father and mother are unaware. The parents are busy looking for his car keys. This little girl is patiently waiting for Her Big Moment when the father opens the closet to look in there too. She got him good.

It sure makes you wonder who the Old Soul is in the house. Looks like she is working over time to get the parents to catch up to her. Get your laugh on!

From Denny: Sorry it took me so long to get back up online this past week. I changed internet providers and it was the earliest they could get me installed. So far it's turned out to be a big plus! But it sure has put me behind on daily posting on one blog and twice a week posting on the other seven. :)

When I write poetry I like to illustrate the poems with photography so I go cruising through the Creative Commons area of Flickr for fun photos and new photographers to promote - whether they are amateurs or professionals. I'm a big fan of promoting others as well as my own work as everybody wins in my book. Besides, it's great fun to poke around the web and see all the creative goodies that other people are doing too and it gives me ideas for my own creativity.

Father Time

From Denny: Those men who are fathers may be fathers in a conventional sense or mentors to younger brothers and sisters, neighbor kids or as sometime fathers as boyfriends of a child's mother. Male nurturing is as important as female nurturing when we are growing up trying to figure out our place in the world. It always help to have a support group from adults who care.

Whomever your true father was in this world, be it your natural father, your stepfather or even your grandfather, think of the good he gave you this Father's Day and honor him with a heartfelt thought. Instead of focusing upon those who did not step up, focus upon gratitude for those who did honor us with their love. Have a great Father's Day!
