Animal: Leonardo The Love Bandit
Not bad for a simple camera phone indoors, without a flash.
Leonardo, a tuxedo cat, is the youngest of 4 hurricane fur people at our house. He is enthusiastic and affectionate like a dog. But then I tend to train my cats like dogs. They don't fetch but then neither did any of my dogs. They are all sociable!

Animal: coming back to life
coming back to life

Animal and People: The short and the tall of it all
At my first visit to a horse show competition there were these two standing alone outside the show ring relaxing.
The difference in heights seemed comical and the elderly gentleman was subdued and quietly thrilled to be photographed, posing carefully.
Lucky me I just happened to be walking by to get this once in a lifetime shot!

Animal: Peacock at monastery

Visited this monastery outside Atlanta often - in Conyers, Georgia. This peacock and I were old friends.
The tourists that day were frustrated this bird would not pose for them and stalked off in disgust. So, I talked to the bird like I always do and he posed beautifully for me.
One of the tourists suddenly noticed I was getting some game (yes, pun!)from that bird and asked, "How did you get him to do it?"
"Oh, that's easy," I explained, "tell a man he is gorgeous and he will show off every time. It's all about a vanity stroke."
